Tofail Mahamud is an emerging researcher and economist. He earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka. Before joining RAPID, he worked briefly as a research officer at Bangladesh Institute of Development studies (BIDS) where he gained valuable experience in handling complex datasets. Additionally, he contributed as a freelance writer for the Financial Express Bangladesh, showcasing his adaptability. His primary interests lie in Monetary Economics, International Finance, and Economic History.
