Accountant has completed the Chartered Accountant course at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh. He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (B.B.S) degree from Siddheswari Degree College and a Master of Business Studies (M.B.S) in Accounting from Govt. Bangla College. Shantha has gained significant experience working as an Accounts and Audit Officer at Transcom Distribution Company Limited and as a Project Accounts Officer at the Institute for Environment and Development (IED). His responsibilities included verifying and confirming Imprest Cash, IOU, Sales Proceeds, and bank balances with statements, as well as conducting inventory verification for Eskayef Pharmaceuticals products across various divisions. He maintained financial software such as m-Reporting and Accpac ERP and participated in regular meetings with senior management to share financial insights. Shantha ensured compliance with financial policies, regulations, quality control, and assurance systems, and maintained the integrity of manufacturing processes and documentation. His role also involved preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports, managing taxes and VAT, and reviewing budget and variance statements to align income and expenses with the budget. With his extensive knowledge in financial reporting and regulatory compliance, Shantha has significantly contributed to the organisations he has served.
