Md. Hossain Uzzaman is an aspiring economist and a Research Associate at Research and Policy Integration for Development (RAPID). He holds both his honours and master’s degrees in economics from Dhaka University, where he achieved excellent academic results. His research interests span international trade, macroeconomics, labour economics, and development economics. Since joining RAPID, Md. Hossain Uzzaman has contributed to various research outputs, including policy briefs, policy research papers, handbooks, and reports, as part of projects funded by prominent organizations such as the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the International Labour Organization (ILO). His work is driven by a commitment to conducting research that informs and improves policies, ultimately benefiting the people of Bangladesh.
