Dr M. Ismail Hossain is a Professor and former Chairperson in the Department of Economics at the North South University. He also holds the position of Pro Vice-Chancellor at the university. He has a diverse experience of research and consultancy. His research interests include macroeconomic modeling, international trade, and agriculture. He has numerous publications credited to his name. He obtained his PhD and MA from the University of Toronto, Canada.
